AGENTS OF CHANGE

ELLIE GOULDING

F4Dā€™S ECO AWARD

Double Brit-winner and GRAMMY-nominated singer/songwriter Ellie Goulding was born in Hereford, England, where she developed a deep affinity for the natural world. Leaving to pursue her instinctive musical talent, she moved to London and quickly rose to the top of the charts with her infectious electronic pop sound. Her three studio albums, Lights, Halcyon and Delirium have sold over 13 million albums worldwide and totalled 2.4 billion streams, placing her at the forefront of contemporary music. Her new, eagerly-awaited album will be released in January, 2019.

Away from music, Goulding uses her voice and reach to represent environmental and social justice issues. In recognition of her activism, she was awarded the New Voices Award by the United Nations in November, 2017. Since then, she has been appointed a Goodwill Ambassador for UN Environment. She has made it her mission to immerse herself in key issues surrounding climate change in Greenland, and the critical plastic crisis in Kenya. By bearing witness firsthand to its impact, she is able to speak openly and honestly to her fans on global issues.

Alongside Edward Enninful, editor of UK Vogue, and Livia Firth, she is also a judge for the Green Carpet Talent Competition 2018. She is equally passionate about fashion, a long-time supporter of Stella McCartney and an advocate of eco innovation. She champions designers who can solve big problems, but still make beautiful and inspired clothes.
